Multi-pitched slate re-roof

A traditional Kent property with several pitches meeting at valley gutters and two chimney stacks. Stripped back to the rafters, re-felted, re-battened and reslated with dry-fix ridge and verge.

Storm damage — before the repair

Storm damage lifted a run of ridge and hip tiles and exposed the battens and felt. Made watertight the same day with a tarpaulin, then permanently repaired within the week.

Red tile re-roof

A complete strip-and-re-cover in machine-made red clay tiles, with new breathable membrane, treated battens and a full dry-fix ridge system. Every course aligned to the correct gauge.

EPDM flat roof over a rear extension

Old felt roof stripped back to the deck, new OSB boarding, then a single seamless EPDM membrane with new edge trims and a properly sited outlet. No more ponding.

Lead flashing and valley replacement

Failed lead flashing at the abutment was letting water track behind the tiles. New code-4 lead dressed into the brickwork and the surrounding tiles re-bedded.

Insulation upgrade from inside

The roof was sound but the loft was uninsulated. Fitted breathable membrane, full insulation to current building regs and finished with the oak beams exposed as the owner wanted.

New gutter run, fascia and soffit

Replaced a tired gutter run along with rotten fascias and a perished soffit. New white uPVC throughout with brackets at the right centres so the run never sags.

Full roofline refit on a garage block

Stripped the old concrete gutters off the garage block and fitted a continuous black uPVC gutter run with a single downpipe, alongside new fascias and soffits.

Emergency tarp and repair

Sunday afternoon call-out after tiles were blown off. Tarp fitted that evening, full repair scheduled and completed within 48 hours.
